Practice Rules:
1. Have all homework and household chores done, or
do not come to wrestling practice. Come to every practice. Be on time for
practice.
2. Go to the bathroom before
practice.
3. Never wear wrestling shoes outside. No street shoes are allowed on the
wrestling mats. Have your
shoes on and tied before you enter the practice
room.
4. No drinks in the wrestling room.
5. Go to the bathroom before
practice.
6. No hats are to be worn inside buildings during
PAL sponsored events.
No jewelry is to be worn.
7. Go to the bathroom before
practice.
8.
Shoes are secured or tied until everyone is dismissed from
practice.
9. How hard you work in practice will determine how
well you succeed in competition.
Being a good wrestler is up to
you.
10. Always bring a hat or hooded coat to
practice. You will be hot and
sweaty at the end of practice.
Sweaty uncovered heads invite
colds.
What to wear- shorts and t-shirt for practice. Sweat shirts and pants are fine,
but they should be easy to take off as you get hot. You are not allowed to wear hooded
sweat shirts once we begin to wrestle.
Shoes-
wrestling shoes are not required, but are a good idea. We have some shoes that you may
use. If you have a returning wrestler who has outgrown their shoes, please
donate them to the club. If
you need to buy shoes we recommend Middletown
Sportsland. They carry a large selection of
wrestling supplies, and also sponsor the team.
